What is Leveling up in BnB?

> When you buy a level up, you increase your chance of ending the game for you and you only.  Each time you level, you increase your color's potency by 5%+. This phenomena is called "Color Progression".  This potency is reflected by how much color is shown on the body.


> You have four options when you level up: 

Gain WHITE

Gain BLACK

Gain COLOR

Gain GREY

> Gaining WHITE causes a full palette shift of your character approximately 5% more to the white spectrum
> Gaining BLACK causes a full palette shift of your character approximately 5% more to the black spectrum
> Gaining a color makes that color appear brighter on your character, and sometime grants more abilities. 
> Gaining GREY desaturates your Color Progression (No change in ability, but you get more HP) 


 

Writing Skills

>  Skills are imagination free-for-alls. They can be any range of style or form so long as they are not too extravagant and easy to understand.  Each should include a basic range of how much energy it takes to use the skill and the drawbacks where applicable. 

> All skills should have ONE singular function, be it Defense, Offense, Heal, or Buff. 

> Buffs can increase no greater than 1 Stat for 1 value at a time with a max of 30 minutes in character. 

> Heal skills are flexible, but should be fair. You cannot fully heal someone in one turn unless you are grossly over their level, and there should be a price paid, be it MP or your character's HP.

> Offense and Defense skills should not be overpowered or effect more than 2 adjacent enemies.

> Seriously just don't be that guy. This isn't a battle oriented group, so there's no reason to cram in every detail to try and WIN as possible.

You have 12 Stat points

You have 2 Skills

You have 1 Color at 50% Potency

You have 1 Weapon

> LEVEL TWO

You gain 5% Potency

​

> LEVEL THREE

You gain 5% Potency

 

> LEVEL FOUR

You gain 5% Potency

​

> LEVEL FIVE

You gain 5% Potency

You learn 1 skill

​

> LEVEL SIX

You gain 5% Potency

​

> LEVEL SEVEN

You gain 5% Potency

​

> LEVEL EIGHT

You gain 5% Potency

​

> LEVEL NINE

You gain 5% Potency

​

> LEVEL TEN

You gain 7% Potency

You discover 1 weapon

You learn 1 skill

> LEVEL ELEVEN

You gain 7% Potency

​

> LEVEL TWELVE

You gain 7% Potency

​

> LEVEL FOURTEEN

You gain 7% Potency

​

> LEVEL FIFTEEN

You gain 7% Potency

You learn 1 skill

> Weapons come to Greys like a realization, a thought brought to life in the vibrancy of their being. 

> The weapon can take any shape, but must be one of their accessible colors. 

> LEVEL SIXTEEN

You gain 7% Potency


> LEVEL SEVENTEEN

You gain 7% Potency

> LEVEL EIGHTEEN

You gain 7% Potency

​

> LEVEL NINETEEN

You gain 7% Potency

​

> LEVEL TWENTY

You gain 10% Potency

You learn 1 skill

You learn 1 Ascended Skil

 

> An Ascended Skill is one of advanced power to a corrupted Grey or Color; a pure vibrancy in weaponry that breaks the normal limit of what is acceptable.

> Activation causes your character to glow at will. 

This pattern continues at this point; every 5 levels you can learn a skill,every 10 levels you discover a weapon, and every 20 you can learn an Ascended Skill.
